Situated in Prospecton – Durban – KwaZulu Natal the NFM Extrusion Division was established in 1966 and today is one of the largest extruders of copper and brass alloys in South Africa, as well as one of the largest wrought copper, brass and bronze manufacturers in South Africa and is ideally situated within easy access to Port as well as road transport routes. With a number of extrusion presses of the direct as well as indirect type, NFM are in a position to extrude a variety of copper and brass alloys into many shapes and sizes. A good compliment of automated Schumag draw benches, as well as conventional draw benches, allows NFM to supply wrought copper, brass and bronze alloys in a variety of shapes, sizes and tempers.

NFM Production facilities are ISO9001:2015 rated and all of the copper, brass and bronze alloys are fully certified to international standards, as well as to specific customer needs. The R&D Department is constantly working on innovative ideas to maximise the product range with the aim of being a one-stop wholesaler.
